Listening & Sounding

“To listen well, is as powerful a means of influence as to talk well, and is as essential to all true conversation” from Chinese proverb

If we listen enough to our environment then we’ll figure out how to solve any problems. Listening enables us to correctly captures the real underlying cause(s).

Listen to your end customers.
Listen to your internal customers
Listen to your team.
Listen to your external environment.

Always challenge your ongoing assumptions by listening to … Only by knowing where they’re ‘coming from’ you can make sense of any person / situations.

And, oh by the way, this might sound contradictory.. You still need to be able to tell which one is noise and which one is the sound that you need listen to.. The challenge as the speaker or the sender of the message is that you need to not sound like a noise… Craft your message so that you do not sound like a mere noise.

In the final analysis
Try to strive to receive the message better but at the same time help out the other message receiver by sounding your idea to him/her in a systematical manner as well.
