Push (the Right Button)
“A sign on the door of Opportunity reads Push.”
Whether we’d like to admit it or not.. we all have our ‘hot’ buttons.
Those ‘hot’ buttons are for us to be aware of so that we can act accordingly.
Do we get hyped up when the subject of discussion relates to sports or movies or something about popular science? Or any other topics for that matter…
Or do we easily get into an agreement with a person or towards a subject when somehow the person who is pitching the idea is stroking our ego?
When we are aware of our own behaviour then we can do something about it.. Improve it? Or just leave as it is (I doubt that we are already be in our best behaviour right now)
In the final analysis..
Start with yourself.. Be self-concious on the hot buttons.
Observe your ‘external environment’. (I’m talking about those people that you deal with and you plan to deal with)
Having said that, package your ‘message’ well so that it can actually ‘push’ that opportunity sign at the door.
